Looking Back: May
May, every bit y'all may know, is my favorite month! This year, every bit always, it did non disappoint.
Running: In May, I ran 220 miles. This is to a greater extent than oft than non due to 2 races, i 100k together with i 50k. Other than that, I had my highest mileage calendar week this year, which was 73 miles. I climbed only about 52,000 vertical feet, although my Garmin has been a flake wonky, then that is likely summation or minus 10%. I biked no miles...again! Biking fail. However, I did create most 1 - 2 x per calendar week gardening / yard work, together with I am calling that cross training!
Reading: I ended upward reading vii books, although it should accept been more, every bit I took a long flying inward May. However, I did larn some "reading" done via well mass piece running 2 races that took most xx hours betwixt the 2 of them! Usually I create non heed to music on runs, but this time, I used the fourth dimension wisely! Travel: Whew! May was a whirlwind of travel. All 4 weekends were booked! I went to Sacramento, San Jose, hiked Mt. Diablo amongst the folks, flew to Minneapolis for Lisa's wedding, went to Livermore/Fremont for a race together with went upward to my parents household for Memorial Day. It was amount of expert times amongst expert friends together with loved ones!
